Final ICFA CITES Resolution

|Position Paper

ICFA advocates that CITES should be science-based, respecting views presented by the FAO Expert Advisory Panel for several ocean species. CITES needs to reconsider process and materials that member Parties utilize in determining their position for voting and reaffirm that any decision-making for commercially utilized aquatic species to be included in CITES should be science-based, respecting views presented by the FAO Expert Advisory Panel for such species.
